A ten-day training course in conflict prevention for senior military officers from nine East African countries started on Monday (October 13) at AU Headquarters in Addis Ababa. The training is organized by the Ethiopian International Peacekeeping Training Center (EIPKTC) which funded and assisted by the Japanese government. It brings together high ranking army officials from Burundi, Djibouti, Egypt, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan and Uganda. More
