Webinar on Coffee Value Chain
At the Webinar on the importance of Higher Education and the Traditional Coffee Value Chain, H.E. Ambassador Mulu Solomon Bezuneh, Special Envoy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the F.D.R. of Ethiopia delivered a key note speech appreciating the focus of the research being on bringing the theories much closer to practice and the initiatives of the “Bavarian-Ethiopian Alliance for Applied Life Sciences”, Bavaria Universities in Germany, State of Bavaria and the German Government speakers and other participants were universities, business companies, government institutions research institutions, from Colombia, Cost Rica Denmark Ethiopia Kenya Germany, etc., The two days webinar which was conducted on October 28-29,2021 focusing on the importance of Higher Education and the Traditional Coffee Value Chain and Future trend in the Coffee Sector and Higher Education, Applied Research on Coffee Innovation was worthwhile. Speeches, presentations, questions and Answers were very informative to see the gap and help researches notice area to focus on. As Ethiopia is the origin of Human-kind and origin of coffee, issue of coffee value chain, marketing, innovation, etc., is very important as the new home grown economic policy of Ethiopia aims at valuable changes to happen.
