Her Excellency Ambassador Mulu Solomon Bezuneh, Special Envoy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Federal Republic of Germany; covering Czech Republic, Republic of Poland, Slovak Republic and Ukraine conferred with Honourable Volkmar Klein on April 25, 2022 at the Honorable Office.

On the occasion, H.E. Ambassador Mulu briefed Honorable Klein about the current situation in Ethiopia including that the Ethiopian Government has taken various steps to reach Tigray people with humanitarian aid – using trucks, air flights, etc. Also mentioned that TPLF is hampering the humanitarian aid by blocking the humanitarian corridors in Afar region – starving Tigray people. Ambassador Mulu also briefed His Honorable Klein about the positive initiative of the inclusive national dialogue process.

Honourable Klein thanked H.E. Ambassador for the briefing and both sides agreed to continue their engagements to exchange of views in the future.
