28th Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Go for Diversity
H.E. Ambassador Mulu Solomon Bezuneh Special Envoy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Federal Republic of Germany, Czech Republic, the Republic of Poland, Slovak Republic and designate to Ukraine invited on June 21, 2022, by Mr. Jorg-Andreas Kruger, President of Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU) on the occasion of Go for Diversity in Berlin. NABU is 126 years old and the largest environment association in Germany.
On the occasion, Ambassador Mulu also discussed the request for the opening office of the NABU Africa office in Addis Ababa as a regional office under NABU Headquarters in Germany.
NABU previously has been working in Ethiopia as an international registered NGO for over 12 years in Ethiopia on ecosystem conservation and biodiversity protection and was supported by Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building, and Nuclear Safety. Ambassador Mulu thanked the work of NABU in Ethiopia.
Ambassador Mulu met with Honourable Anna Deparnay-Grunenberg, Member of European Parliament, European Parliament Committee on Transport and Tourism, Member of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development, Substitute on the Committee on the Environment and Food Safety, Substitute on the Committee on Regional Development, Substitute Vice – President of the Delegation Europe Economic Area ASP, H.E. Mr. Cem Ozdemir, Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture, H.E. Mrs Steffi Lemke, Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety, H.E. Mrs Klara Geywitz, Minister for Housing, Urban Development and Building and Mr. Jorg-Andreas Kruger, President of NABU.
