Ambassador Eskindir Yirga Meets with ZEISS Group Leadership

Ambassador Eskindir Yirga held a fruitful meeting with Mr. Seyfi Ceyhan, Managing Director of the ZEISS Group and Head of ZEISS South Africa, to discuss avenues for strengthening cooperation between Ethiopia and ZEISS in the fields of science, technology, and healthcare.

The discussions centered on youth training in science and the setting up of a training center for medical professionals. The Ambassador underscored Ethiopia’s commitment to building partnerships that transfer knowledge and technology to support the country’s human capital development. At the same time, Mr. Ceyhan reaffirmed ZEISS’s interest in expanding its engagement with Ethiopia’s health and education sectors.
